HOW THE HEART WORKS

HOW THE HEART WORKS:

1) Blood with carbon dioxide enters through the veins and goes into the right atrium.

2) Then the blood goes into the right ventricle and exits the heart   through the pulmonary artery.

3) The blood goes to the lungs (alveoli) where it leaves the carbon dioxide and it takes the oxygen.

4) The blood with oxygen goes to the heart through the pulmonary vein and goes into the left atrium.

5) It goes from the left atrium to the left ventricle and exits the heart through the aorta artery.

6) Finally, the blood with oxygen is distributed throughout  the body, leaves oxygen and picks up carbon dioxide and the process starts again.
